A mega hatch of flying ants have started to take over Marquette. These things seem to come around every three years or so. The females land, shed their wings and burrow down to lay eggs. Millions of them came out to play on the golf course today. Not a real big issue except on the putting greens. I will be watching them very closely the next few days.
