Please spread out your divot pattern while practicing on the driving range and chipping areas. Single rows or a spread out pattern allows the turf to grow back much quicker as it creeps in from the sides. While mowing the reels can straddle the voids after they are filled with divot mix and not mine out the mix.
Please do not remove large deep patches as seen below.
